H1N1
Over-reaction? Under-reaction?
Whichever it is and however it will turn out by the end of this autumn/winter season, the flu pandemic is playing a lot of psychological tricks. When someone behind me in the tram sneezed, I found myself short of breath because I have been holding it. Glancing furtively around to see if any spittle landed on my precious clothings, I continue with bated breath, sneaking peeks to check if anyone is coughing. Mentally I keep reminding myself to not touch my face and avoid contact with the tram seats and handrails, while trying to stop my skin from crawling because of disgusting, germ-infested people around me.
Compulsive disorder on my part? I don’t think so. Wait til you, who are careless and underestimating, catch it and see who will still be standing.
Like Good ol’ PCK says, don’t play play. H1N1 during this changing of seasons is no joke.
